The Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX) basketball edged the host Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX), 42-40 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Permian for a non-league bout on Friday, November 22. Franklin will play a Panthers team coming off a 79-49 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Lubbock, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
