The Montgomery Central Timberwolves basketball squad (Troy, NC), was nudged 61-58 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC)

With the victory, Southern Lee advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Orange (Hillsborough, NC) to meet the Panthers in a non-league battle on Monday, November 25. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 1-0.

The Timberwolves now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Pines for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 21. Montgomery Central will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 59-17 non-league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
