Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles (San Juan Capistrano, CA), saw Liberty's basketball squad knock off Capistrano Valley Christian by a count of 53-45.

With the victory, Liberty upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to play the Swordsmen in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 21. The Swordsmen come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. St. Paul lost 74-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Chino (Chino, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 27. Capistrano Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
