In Tuesday's non-league outing, the La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Troy Trojans (Troy, TX), by a margin of 64-26.

The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Manor New Tech (Manor, TX). The go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Manor New Tech was crushed by McCallum (Austin, TX), 79-55, in a non-league bout.
