Texas High School Basketball - Poteet fells Paris
November 21, 2023: Mesquite, TX 75150 Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Paris Wildcats (Paris, TX), 42-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Poteet upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Pirates host Garland (Garland, TX) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Garland lost 50-39 in their recent non-league bout against North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Paris will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 73-68 non-league win over Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX).
