North Carolina High School Basketball - East Burke holds off Freedom

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) and the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), saw East Burke's basketball squad hold off Freedom by a tally of 61-54.

With the victory, East Burke improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 22. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Patton lost 49-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Draughn (Valdese, NC)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. Freedom will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 49-8 non-league win over Patton (Morganton, NC).
