The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ) and the visiting Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ), observed Highland Prep's basketball team overwhelm Odyssey Institute by a score of 44-11.

The Honey Badgers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Chino Valley (Chino Valley, AZ). The Cougars come into the 3A West challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Chino Valley was routed by Winslow (Winslow, AZ), 62-15, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Minotaur encounter the Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 22. Odyssey Institute will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
