Arkansas High School Basketball - Sloan-Hendrix overwhelms Pocahontas
November 21, 2024: Pocahontas, AR 72455 The Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Pocahontas Redskins to 17 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Greyhounds now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Viola for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. Sloan-Hendrix will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 54-45 league loss to Norfork (Norfork, AR). The Longhorns record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Pocahontas falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Monday, November 25.
