Tennessee High School Basketball - Franklin County topped by Huntland
November 22, 2022: Huntland, TN 37345 The Huntland Hornets basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Franklin County Rebels to 48 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Culleoka for a non-league contest on Monday, November 28. Huntland will battle a Warriors team coming off a 59-39 non-league loss to Cornersville (Cornersville, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
The Rebels (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Whitwell (Whitwell, TN). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Whitwell was defeated by Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN), 58-55, in a non-league contest.
