In Friday's non-league test, the Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Covenant Crusaders Crusaders (Fayetteville, NC), by a score of 44-35.

Next, the Aviators encounter the Fayetteville Outliers Outliers (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 3. Ascend Leadership will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Outliers come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 73-18 non-league loss to Oak Forest (Wake Forest, NC).
