November 22, 2024: Augusta, AR 72006 The White County Central Bears smashed the host Augusta Red Devils basketball squad by a count of 61-32 in Friday's non-league match.
With the victory, White County Central advances its record to 6-6 on the year. The Bears host Quitman (Quitman, AR) to face the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 5 match on Friday, December 6. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-3.
The Red Devils now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sacred Heart for a 1A Region 5 match on Tuesday, December 3. Augusta will face a Rebels squad coming off a 64-50 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 5-6.
