The Parkland Matadors basketball squad (El Paso, TX), was nudged 40-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Carrizo Springs Wildcats (Carrizo Springs, TX)

With the victory, Carrizo Springs advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to LEE (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Volunteers in a non-league battle on Saturday, November 23. The Volunteers enter the battle with a record of 11-4. LEE lost 47-44 in their recent non-league battle against Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX)
