The Notre Dame (SO) Knights (Sherman Oaks, CA) basketball edged the visiting Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA), 55-50 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Venice for a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. Notre Dame (SO) will play a Gondoliers team coming off a 39-36 non-league loss to Marymount (Los Angeles, CA). The Gondoliers record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Kennedy falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Cleveland (Reseda, CA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 4.
