South Carolina High School Basketball - Lakewood tops Batesburg-Leesville
November 23, 2022: Batesburg, SC 29006 Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Batesburg-Leesville Panthers (Batesburg, SC), 51-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lakewood upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Dreher (Columbia, SC) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Dreher lost 56-34 in their recent non-league bout against Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC)
Next up, the Panthers play the Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Batesburg-Leesville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 76-54 non-league loss to Chapin (Chapin, SC).
