The Ashbrook Greenwave basketball squad (Gastonia, NC), was crushed 85-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Carmel Christian Cougars (Matthews, NC)

With the victory, Carmel Christian advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Cougars host Forest Hills (Marshville, NC) to meet the Yellow Jackets in a non-league battle on Monday, November 25. The Yellow Jackets enter the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Greenwave now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickory Ridge for a non-league battle on Friday, November 29. Ashbrook will meet a Ragin' Bulls squad coming off a 90-60 non-league win over Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 1-2.
