In Saturday's non-league test, the St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans (Austin, TX) basketball squad trounced the host John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX), by a score of 71-48.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 3. St. Stephen's Episcopal will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.

The Guardians (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Great Hearts Northern Oaks (San Antonio, TX). The Griffins come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record.
