The Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix basketball squad (North Charleston, SC), was nudged 50-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC)

With the victory, St. John's advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Islanders travel to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC) to meet the Cougars in a non-league battle on Wednesday, November 27. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 1-0. Colleton County won 28-22 in their recent non-league battle against Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC)

The Phoenix now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Faith Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 3.
