The Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) basketball edged the visiting East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), 32-26 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Marauders now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Noblesville for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 30.

With the loss, East Central falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Greensburg (Greensburg, IN) to play the Pirates in a Eastern Indiana bout on Wednesday, November 27. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Greensburg won 77-44 in their recent non-league bout against Jennings County (North Vernon, IN)
