In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Northridge Raiders basketball team scored a big 84-50 triumph over the Merrillville Pirates.

The Raiders (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Crown Point smashed Andrean (Merrillville, IN), 38-25, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pirates confront the Warsaw Tigers (Warsaw, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 23. Merrillville will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 73-71 non-league win over Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN).
