In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Northern Guilford Nighthawks basketball team scored a close 65-62 triumph over the Bishop McGuinness Villains.

The Nighthawks (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Villains confront the Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3.
