The Edna Karr Cougars held off the visiting Alexandria Trojans football team by a count of 40-34 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Edna Karr upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Acadiana (Lafayette, LA) to encounter the Rams in a non-league outing on Friday, December 1. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 10-2. Acadiana won 28-14 in their recent non-league outing against Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA)

With the loss, Alexandria moves to 8-5 on the season.
