Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ), 78-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Patriots in a 4A East Sky bout on Saturday, November 26. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 2-0. American Leadership Academy won 59-50 in their recent non-league bout against Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 26. Sierra Linda will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 59-50 non-league loss to American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ).
