Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC), 51-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northwestern upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Gaffney (Gaffney, SC) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Gators clash with the Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. River Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Demons go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 60-40 non-league loss to Gilbert (Gilbert, SC).
