North Carolina High School Basketball - Chambers over Covenant Day

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC), saw Chambers's basketball squad overcome Covenant Day by a tally of 67-57.

With the victory, Chambers improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Myers Park lost 51-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Combine Academy (Lincolnton, NC)

Next up, the Lions play the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. Covenant Day will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 64-48 non-league win over Carlisle (Axton, VA).
