The Tanque Verde Hawks basketball team (Tucson, AZ), was toppled 79-62 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ)

The Nighthawks now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon View for a non-league battle on Wednesday, November 29. Ironwood Ridge will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 64-59 non-league win over Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-1.

The Hawks (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Empire (Tucson, AZ). The Ravens come into the 3A South battle with a 5-1 record.
