Alabama High School Basketball - Spring Garden overwhelms Clay-Chalkville
November 25, 2024: Pinson, AL 35126 The Spring Garden Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Clay-Chalkville Cougars to 29 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Gaylesville for a 1A Area 12 game on Monday, December 2. Spring Garden will confront a Trojans team coming off a 42-8 non-league loss to Crossville (Crossville, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Clay-Chalkville falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Spain Park (Hoover, AL) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 5-2. Spain Park won 40-20 in their recent non-league game against John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL)
