The South Mountain Jaguars basketball squad (Phoenix, AZ), was nudged 59-57 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ)

With the win, Fairfax upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Stampede travel to North (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Mustangs in a 5A Metro test on Monday, December 2. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 2-0. North won 60-44 in their recent non-league test against La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ)

The Jaguars (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Metro Tech was nipped by Dobson (Mesa, AZ), 51-36, in a non-league test.
