Alabama High School Basketball - Chelsea overwhelms Childersburg
November 26, 2024: Chelsea, AL 35043 The Chelsea Hornets basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Childersburg Tigers to 19 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the victory, Chelsea advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Hornets travel to Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, December 6. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 2-8.
The Tigers now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelby County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 26. Childersburg will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 62-14 non-league win over Ellwood Christian (Selma, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
