The North Buncombe Black Hawks defeated the host Freedom Patriots basketball squad by a final score of 52-33 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Black Hawks clash with the North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 6. North Buncombe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.

The Patriots (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Cavaliers come into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, East Burke overcame Patton (Morganton, NC), 88-7, in a non-league outing.
