Texas High School Basketball - Parkland overwhelms Irvin

November 26, 2024: El Paso, TX 79924

The Parkland Matadors basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Irvin Rockets to 24 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Matadors now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Eastlake for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. Parkland will confront a Falcons team coming off a 38-36 non-league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Falcons record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Irvin falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Rockets host Fabens (Fabens, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 8-3. Fabens won 46-20 in their recent non-league game against Patterson Institute (El Paso, TX)
