Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA), saw Point Loma's basketball squad hold off Kearny by a tally of 29-27.

With the victory, Point Loma improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Pointers host Crawford (San Diego, CA) to confront the Colts in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Crawford lost 39-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Montclair (Montclair, CA)

Next up, the Komets confront the Guajome Park Academy Frogs (Vista, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. Kearny will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Frogs come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 35-30 non-league loss to Gompers Prep Academy (San Diego, CA).
