The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) and the host Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ), observed Mica Mountain's basketball team edge Valley Vista by a score of 61-59.

The Thunderbolts (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, ALA - Gilbert North edged Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ), 74-61, in a non-league challenge.
