North Carolina High School Basketball - East Burke nips Freedom

November 27, 2024: Connelly Springs, NC 28612

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) and the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), observed East Burke's basketball team edge Freedom by a margin of 69-62.

The Cavaliers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Draughn edged R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 52-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 3. Freedom will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
