The Cherryville Ironmen topped the visiting NCSSM: Morganton basketball team by a final score of 59-50 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Ironmen face the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 1. Cherryville will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 59-49 non-league loss to Foard (Newton, NC).
