Illinois High School Basketball - Berwyn/Cicero Morton tops Oak Forest
November 28, 2023: Cicero, IL 60804 Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL), 41-25 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Berwyn/Cicero Morton upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Hinsdale South (Darien, IL) to play the Hornets in a West Suburban - Gold bout on Saturday, December 2. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 5-1.
Next up, the Bengals play the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) in a South Suburban - Red bout, on Thursday, November 30. Oak Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 59-25 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL).
