The East Bakersfield Blades basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Highland Scots to 31 in the Blades non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blades now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Maria for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. East Bakersfield will battle a Saints team coming off a 52-29 non-league win over Pioneer Valley (Santa Maria, CA). The Saints record now stands at 2-3.

The Scots (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Mira Monte was routed by Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA), 61-43, in a non-league contest.
