Texas High School Basketball - Gordon can't hold off Eastland
November 28, 2023: Eastland, TX 76448 The Eastland Mavericks basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Gordon Longhorns to 58 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mavericks now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Eastland will battle a Tigers team coming off a 29-28 non-league loss to Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
The Longhorns (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against San Saba (San Saba, TX). The Armadillos come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record.
