Mississippi High School Basketball - Hancock tops St. Martin
November 28, 2023: Ocean Springs, MS 39564 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) and the host St. Martin Yellow Jackets (Ocean Springs, MS), saw Hancock's basketball squad knock off St. Martin by a count of 48-36.
With the victory, Hancock upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. D'Iberville won 51-36 in their recent non-league challenge against West Harrison (Gulfport, MS)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. St. Martin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 59-42 non-league loss to Columbia (Columbia, MS).
