Texas High School Basketball - New Home knocked off by Brownfield
November 29, 2022: Brownfield, TX 79316 The Brownfield Cubs basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting New Home Leopards to 52 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cubs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockwall-Heath for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Brownfield will meet a Hawks team coming off a 56-52 non-league loss to Frisco (Frisco, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 2-3.
The Leopards (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Abernathy (Abernathy, TX). The Antelopes enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Abernathy was outscored by Hereford (Hereford, TX), 56-42, in a non-league contest.
