Ohio High School Basketball - Wellston nips Oak Hill
November 29, 2022: Oak Hill, OH 45656 Wellston Golden Rockets (Wellston, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Oak Hill Oaks (Oak Hill, OH), 64-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wellston upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Golden Rockets host Miller (Corning, OH) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Oaks play the Eastern Eagles (Beaver, OH) in a Southern Ohio II bout, on Friday, December 2. Oak Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 61-46 non-league win over Piketon (Piketon, OH).
