Virginia High School Basketball - Fleming crushes Albemarle
November 29, 2023: Roanoke, VA 24017 Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), 55-16 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fleming upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Colonels travel to Steward (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Steward lost 48-46 in their recent non-league bout against Paul VI (Chantilly, VA)
Next up, the Patriots clash with the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Albemarle will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 53-43 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
