Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), saw Canyon Springs's basketball squad wallop Cheyenne by a tally of 60-32.

With the victory, Canyon Springs improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Somerset Academy Losee (North Las Vegas, NV) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Somerset Academy Losee won 67-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV)

Next up, the Desert Shields play the Legacy Longhorns (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Sky challenge, on Friday, December 1. Cheyenne will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
