North Carolina High School Basketball - Harnett Central crushes Hobbton

November 29, 2023: Angier, NC 27501

Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 49-11 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Harnett Central upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to West Johnston (Benson, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-2. West Johnston lost 57-33 in their recent non-league bout against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Hobbton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 36-35 non-league win over East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC).
