November 29, 2023: Sumter, SC 29150 The Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC) basketball nipped the visiting Ben Lippen Falcons (Columbia, SC), 33-28 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Barons (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Orangeburg Prep (Orangeburg, SC). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Orangeburg Prep was tipped by Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC), 26-23, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Northside Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Ben Lippen will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 49-34 non-league loss to Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-1.
