Georgia High School Basketball - Islands holds off Bluffton
November 29, 2023: Savannah, GA 31410 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Bluffton Bobcats (Bluffton, SC), saw Islands's basketball squad hold off Bluffton by a tally of 42-38.
With the victory, Islands improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Sharks host Memorial Day (Savannah, GA) to confront the Matadors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Hilton Head Prep Dolphins (Hilton Head Island, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Bluffton will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Dolphins come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 52-21 non-league win over Patrick Henry Academy (Estill, SC).
