East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), 49-23 in a non-league match.

With the victory, East Wake advances its record to 1-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Knightdale (Knightdale, NC) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. The Knights enter the match with a record of 2-2. Knightdale lost 46-42 in their recent non-league match against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC)

The Spartans now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apex for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. Sanderson will face a Cougars squad coming off a 52-32 non-league loss to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-4.
