Alabama High School Basketball - Buckhorn holds off Huntsville
November 30, 2022: New Market, AL 35761 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) and the visiting Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL), saw Buckhorn's basketball squad hold off Huntsville by a tally of 55-52.
With the victory, Buckhorn improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bucks travel to Lee (Huntsville, AL) to confront the Generals in a 6A Area 16 challenge on Friday, December 2. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Lee lost 55-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Florida State University High School (Tallahassee, FL)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots (Grant, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 1. Huntsville will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 101-42 non-league win over Lawrence County (Moulton, AL).
