The Southern Trojans basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Brown Bears to 50 in the Trojans non-league victory on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jeffersontown for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Southern will battle a Chargers team coming off a 70-49 non-league loss to Fairdale (Fairdale, KY). The Chargers record now stands at 0-1.

The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Hancock County was routed by Apollo (Owensboro, KY), 60-49, in a non-league contest.
