The Somerset Academy Losee Lions (North Las Vegas, NV) basketball felled the visiting Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV), 61-50 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV). The Roadrunners go into the 4A Sky test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Southeast Career Tech was beaten by Boulder City (Boulder City, NV), 40-34, in a non-league test.

The Pioneers now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Del Sol for a 4A Desert test on Monday, December 4. Canyon Springs will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 51-34 non-league win over Western (Las Vegas, NV). The Dragons record now stands at 2-0.
