North Carolina High School Basketball - Covenant Day holds off Myers Park

The Covenant Day Lions basketball team scored 75 points and limited the host Myers Park Mustangs to 70 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Christ the King for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. Covenant Day will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 67-48 non-league win over Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Myers Park falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC) to confront the Mavericks in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Mavericks go into the game with a record of 1-4. Marvin Ridge lost 71-48 in their recent non-league game against Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC)
